In the lead up to the vessel's refit, MML produced detailed work specifications for each individual item required. This provided a portable refit package, enabling the owner to identify the major cost drivers well in advance of the work.

The wide ranging package involved standard classification requirements through to detailed specifications and designs. This included a complete change of electrical power generation plant and distribution system.

MML also provided Superintending oversight of the refit itself and were able to directly negotiate significant cost savings for the owners.
